Foundations & Pads in Northern Colorado.
Foundation digs and engineered pads for shops, barndominiums, homes, and commercial structures.
About Foundations & Pads.
A foundation or pad job has zero margin for guess-work. The dirt under a structure carries the structure for the rest of its life — and if the cut's wrong, the lifts aren't right, or the moisture wasn't controlled, the failure shows up as cracks and settlement years later, when fixing it is brutally expensive.
NLS digs foundations and builds pads from house basements to commercial-scale building pads. We read the engineered design carefully, dig to plan, and place engineered fill in compacted lifts with proper moisture conditioning. We can coordinate third-party density testing on any job that requires certified compaction reports for the project file.
Whether you're building a shop, a barndo, a single-family home, or a commercial structure, we work with your concrete crew and your framers so the handoff is clean — finish grade verified, elevations documented, ready for forms.

Why NLS for foundations & pads.
We compete on getting the dirt right the first time. Hire us once, hire us again — and tell your neighbor. That's the whole business plan.
Dimensions, depths, and elevations come from the structural drawings. We don't freelance.
8" lifts, moisture-conditioned, density verified. The pad you build on top of is the pad we sign off on.
Density reports, GPS-verified finish elevations — for permitting, for the engineer, or for your file.
Forms-ready means forms-ready. Your concrete crew never sits waiting on us.
